Major Talent | Effective Date: March 25, 2026 | Last Updated: March 25, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Major Talent LLC uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on majortalent.com and iam.majortalent.com (the “Platform”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember information about your visit, such as your login status or preferences, and can help us understand how you use the Platform so we can improve it.

Similar technologies include web beacons (tiny image files that track page visits), local storage, and session tokens. References to “cookies” in this Policy include all such technologies.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Platform to function. They enable core features such as account authentication, session management, and security. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies as the Platform cannot function without them.

Examples:

  • Session authentication token — keeps you logged in during your visit.
  • CSRF protection token — prevents cross-site request forgery attacks.
  • Consent preference cookie — stores your cookie consent choice.

2.2 Functional Cookies

These cookies remember your preferences and settings to provide a more personalized experience. They are not essential but improve usability.

Examples:

  • Language and regional preferences.
  • Profile completion progress indicators.
  • Last-viewed feature or section within the dashboard.

2.3 Analytics Cookies

These cookies collect aggregated, anonymized data about how visitors use the Platform — including pages visited, time on page, and navigation paths. This information helps us understand what works well and what needs improvement.

We use analytics tools such as Google Analytics. Data collected is anonymized before processing and is not used to identify individual users. You may opt out of analytics cookies through our consent banner.

2.4 Employer and Partner Tracking (Limited)

If you access the Platform via a link from an employer partner or referral program, a tracking cookie may be set to attribute your registration to the appropriate referral source. This data is used only for internal reporting and referral credit assignment.

We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies. We do not serve targeted advertisements, and we do not permit third-party ad networks to place cookies on the Platform.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on the Platform are set by third-party services that we use to operate the Platform. These may include:

  • Google Analytics — for usage analytics (analytics.google.com). See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • reCAPTCHA (Google) — for bot detection and security verification on registration forms.

We do not control third-party cookies and recommend reviewing their respective privacy and cookie policies.

4. How Long Do Cookies Last?

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. The retention periods for our cookies:

  • Authentication session cookie: expires at end of browser session.
  • Consent preference cookie: 12 months.
  • Analytics cookies: up to 26 months (Google Analytics default).
  • Referral attribution cookie: 30 days.

5. Your Cookie Choices

When you first visit the Platform, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner. You may accept all cookies, accept only strictly necessary cookies, or customize your preferences by category.

You may change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of the Platform.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View and delete cookies stored on your device.
  • Block cookies from specific sites or all sites.
  • Receive a warning before cookies are stored.

Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to the Platform. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use any features.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as we introduce new features or technologies. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform’s consent banner.
