These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Major Talent platform, including the website at majortalent.com and the candidate platform at iam.majortalent.com (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Who We Are

Major Talent is a veteran-focused recruitment and career development platform operated by Major Talent LLC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. Our mission is to maximize the professional potential of veterans and military spouses by translating military experience into civilian career language and connecting qualified candidates with employer partners.

2. Eligibility

To create a candidate account, you must be:

  • A current or former member of the United States Armed Forces (including Reserve and National Guard components), OR
  • A military spouse or dependent, OR
  • An employer or employer representative registering for employer access.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the eligibility requirements above.

3. Account Registration

To access the Platform’s features, you must create an account using your name, phone number, email address, and a password. Your email address serves as your unique user ID. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password confidential and secure.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately at support@majortalent.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Major Talent reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe have been compromised.

4. Platform Features

Depending on your account type and profile completion, you may access the following features:

  • Military Career Translation — conversion of your military job codes, rank, and service record into civilian resume language.
  • Resume Development — generation of a skills-based civilian resume from your translated military profile.
  • Interview Preparation — guided practice sessions with categorized interview questions.
  • Automated Job Notifications — real-time alerts for job opportunities matched to your interests and location preferences.
  • National Employer Distribution — sharing your profile with Major Talent’s employer partner network.
  • Credentialing Opportunities — access to professional credentials with associated costs covered by Major Talent where applicable.
  • Career Exploration Analysis — strengths assessment and career path recommendations.
  • Post-Service Resources — informational guidance on insurance, financial planning, mortgage resources, and VA disability rating assistance.
  • Referral Program — tools to refer other veterans, with incentives for qualified referrals.

All features are provided free of charge to veteran and military spouse candidates. Employer access is governed by a separate employer agreement.

5. User Conduct

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile or registration.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, including military service members or employers.
  • Upload or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or infringing on any third-party rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform or its underlying systems.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data from the Platform without written permission.
  • Use the Platform for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by Major Talent.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and data compilations — is owned by or licensed to Major Talent and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Major Talent name and logo are trademarks of Major Talent LLC.

You retain ownership of the personal and military experience data you submit to the Platform. By submitting this data, you grant Major Talent a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely for the purpose of providing Platform services to you and connecting you with employer partners, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Employer Relationships

Major Talent facilitates connections between veterans and employer partners. Major Talent is not a staffing agency and does not guarantee job placement, interviews, or employment outcomes. Any employment relationship formed through the Platform is exclusively between the veteran and the employer. Major Talent is not a party to any employment agreement and bears no liability for employer decisions, hiring outcomes, or workplace conditions.

8. Third-Party Links and Integrations

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services (including career assessment tools, credentialing providers, and job boards). Major Talent does not endorse or control these third-party services and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. MAJOR TALENT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CAREER TRANSLATION, RESUME OUTPUT, OR JOB MATCHING WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR RESULT IN EMPLOYMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAJOR TALENT AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, DATA LOSS, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Major Talent, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@majortalent.com. Major Talent may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or that we determine is harmful to the Platform or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Douglas County, Nebraska.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
